TOUCH

TOUCH

The concept of the plein air was to find alternative ways of communicating information about the place of residence and work on nature through the very nature.

During the open-air in Chernihiv, artists every day passed by a lake surrounded by willows. Long branches dropped to the ground, gracefully hung, enveloping passers-by foliage.

In the installation, the author presents his personal experience of perceiving the shape of a plant by touching it. The author of the project drew the audience’s attention to the physical properties of willow – the color, the smell, the shape, the structure, by moving the segments of the tree into the space of the gallery.
