BREATH

 

50 trees with height of 2.5 (m) and a width of 1 (cm), fixed between the chest and the ceiling, moved to the beat of breath. The construction resembled a sculpture and perfectly demonstrated the mechanism of breathing / exhaling.

This performance was performed like a part of my project ‘Subjects’ at the University of the Arts of Poznan (Poland), in Tykhy at the VII-th Festival of Performances “Only Four Things” (Poland), in the Labirynt Gallery in Lublin, at the “There Where Now” (Poland) exhibition, in the “Dziga” gallery. in Lviv. Video of performance was presented at the International Performance Art Festival Body Landscapes in Copenhagen (Denmark) and at the Istambul Performance Art (Turkey).
